Will I receive a proof before the ad is printed?
Unfortunately we do not provide proofs for Grad Goodbyes before publication. Rest assured, we have a system of checks in place to make sure each ad is correct.

What are the sizes of the ads?
A small ad is 2.68 inches wide by 4.95 inches tall and has a max word count of 45 words. A large ad is 5.38 inches wide by 4.95 inches tall and has a max word count of 90 words.

Can I design my own ad?
Sorry! But in effort to make this section of the Graduation Issue look cohesive we require you to let us handle the design.

Can I place multiple ads?
Yes! You can submit the form as many times as you like.

Do I have to submit a baby photo?
While you can submit any photo you want, the section predominantly features photos of graduates as babies or very young children. Think two through ten years in age.

I'm worried my picture won't work. What should I do?
Don’t worry! We’ll contact you if we notice any issues with how your photo will reproduce in print and online.

I don't know what my graduate's major/school is, what should I do?
If you don’t know either you can leave these fields blank as they are not required. If you know their major and not their school, we can likely connect the dots for you.

My photo has an element I want to make sure isn't cropped out. What do I do?
We’re generally pretty good at deducing what should stay in a photo (especially if it’s referenced in the ad’s message) but if you’re particularly concerned feel free to reach out.

What's the deadline?
Deadline for all Grad Goodbye submissions is Sunday, May 12th at midnight.

Where can I get a copy of the Graduation Issue?
The Graduation Issue will be distributed around Penn’s campus during graduation weekend from Friday, May 17 through Monday, May 20. There will also be staff handing out the Graduation Issue outside of the commencement ceremony at the corner of 33rd and Walnut Streets.
